Brief: Create a head in 3D
I was inspired by the distinctive shape of Abraham Lincoln while searching for a good head to model, a very interesting and challenging subject to model while retaining human features. The process involved the creation of individual quads to shape the nose, eye and mouth, followed by adding topology that corresponds to the various aspects of the face. The hair was created using XGen, and the surfacing using Surface Painter. Since it was my first time experimenting with XGen, it was quite a learning curve. It was also my first time using Renderman.
